Right to Dream were crowned 2026 SuperCupNI Boys’ Premier champions after a 3–0 victory over County Antrim at the Coleraine Showgrounds on Friday, 31 July.
Returning to SuperCupNI for the first time since 2019, the Ghanaian academy side secured the trophy through goals from Emilian Gunleifsson, Novak Aletic and Yaya Sidibe.
County Antrim made the brighter start and came close to opening the scoring in the 11th minute. Damian Sitnicki met an Oscar Spence corner at the back post, only for his header to strike the upright. Right to Dream were threatening too, with Sidibe forcing goalkeeper Phoenix Blayney into action soon afterwards.
The breakthrough arrived in the 26th minute. Antrim were unable to fully clear the danger and the ball fell to Gunleifsson near the edge of the penalty area. His effort found its way past Blayney to give Right to Dream the lead.
There were chances at both ends before the interval. Arda Durmaz curled narrowly wide for Right to Dream, while Eoin Harden created an opening for Antrim before sending his volley over the crossbar.
Right to Dream continued to apply pressure after the break, although Antrim remained dangerous. Substitute Jamison Rainey came close to an equaliser in the 52nd minute when his low effort forced Ahmed Hamada into an important save.
At the other end, Blayney was called upon repeatedly and produced another strong stop when Sidibe broke through the Antrim defence.
With only a few minutes of normal time remaining, Right to Dream finally doubled their advantage. Gunleifsson drove the ball across the face of goal and Novak Aletic supplied the decisive touch for 2–0.
Blayney then denied Aletic a second, but the result was put beyond doubt in stoppage time when Sidibe added a third with an individual effort.
The closing stages also saw County Antrim reduced to nine players, with Calum Meighan and Jamison Rainey both shown red cards during stoppage time.
At the final whistle, captain Mohamed Gouda lifted the Boys’ Premier Cup, completing an impressive return to the tournament for Right to Dream.
